At NGC we aim to reduce youth people being involved with gangs and youth violence. We support 13-19 year olds from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are disengaged from the classroom, on the edge of exclusion, or referred by youth offending teams or Pupil Referral units by taking them through inspiring keynotes, holistic coaching programme and business development workshops.
We take so much pride in working for our community, and helping young people to take charge of their future and even possibly help their communities also. One of the amazing things our work has led us to is being recognised by others for the work we do. Organisations like Fair Education Alliance, which is a coalition of over 200 organisations who aim to tackle inequality in the education system.
So we are glad to announce that we are one of the five FEA winners alongside four other incredible organisations that are just as deserving of the award. This award is so exciting to us because it gives us the opportunity to do so much for young people and the community! We wanted to use this also as an opportunity to thank you all for your support and love, God is truly so good.
This award will allow us at NGC to deliver the Overcomer series! where young people would participate in a 10 - 12 week business development workshop focussed on social action projects, as well as engage in creative showcases that would include producing videos chronicling their journeys from adversity to success.
Once again we thank our community and if you or a school/organisation you know would be interested in the 10 - 12 week programme then please don't hesitate to get in touch: email@example.com
